The New

Yes I am a star. Or at least I feel like one. I am treated like a star.

MY STORY

I have had two other homes. I am not sure why I could not stay in my other homes. I found myself in a kennel with lots of other dogs. I was the old man there. Nine.....who is going to want a nine year old?

I got lucky. A lady was looking for a new dog. Her little dog had died suddenly. She found me on the "net". whatever that is. I did not see any nets around here just more dogs, anyway she came to see me. I was, of course, on my best behavior, but then I am always on my best behavior. Hey, she liked me and took me home. At first I did not know where we were going, it was a long drive but I was good in the car

When we got to where we were going I got out of the car and went into a house. I looked around...it was a real house not a kennel. Only one other dog...a little yapper I can handle those little guys. Just ignore them. They like to think they are boss.....BUT.....

This is Chipper, the yapper dog.....:-)

Anyway....I have a new home. I am happy here. I even have a goat to chase....FUN....his name is also Toby

I have lots of trees and lots of room to run and play. I also have some playmates

It is so nice to know that I now have a forever home....Imagine that at my age. My new human companion loves me and I love her!

I am even learning how to be a service dog. I have a vest which says "IN TRAINING." I help my lady in whatever way I can. I am happy to help. I have gone to Wal-Mart, the grocery store and the Post Office . Here I am in my cape. I am very proud to be able to wear one.
